The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) invites proposals for its Data Resources Program 2010, offering grants for the analysis of existing data. This initiative seeks to reproduce, replicate, or extend prior research findings and conduct original studies utilizing data from the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). NACJD, maintained by the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) and supported by NIJ, provides online access to quantitative and qualitative data, including downloadable files and related documentation from NIJ-funded research. While NIJ has a strong interest in NACJD data, proposals incorporating data from other sources will also be considered. A key requirement is that all data files generated through Data Resources Program grants must be contributed to NACJD.
