As a group, awardee hubs will constitute a collaborative network for mental health research in LMICs with capabilities for answering research questions (within and across regions) aimed at improving mental health outcomes for men, women, and children. This program is not intended to support research that can be conducted primarily in and/or by United States or other high income country institutions. Foreign Institutions are eligible to apply. Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the Multi-Project Cooperative Agreement (U19) award mechanism. Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. The NIMH intends to commit approximately $2,000,000 (total costs) in FY 2011 to fund up to 3 new grants in response to this FOA.
