NINDS: Ancillary Studies in PREDICT-HD (U01)

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is offering grants for ancillary studies to enhance the understanding of premanifest or prodromal Huntington’s disease (HD) by collaborating with the Neurobiological Predictors of Huntington’s Disease (PREDICT-HD) study. This international 32-site observational study provides clinical and biospecimen resources from 800 premanifest HD participants and 200 healthy control subjects, including a decade of clinical data and MRI imaging. Researchers can access a portion of the collected data through the dbGaP website. Applications are due by August 14, 2013.
