An application should address and advance important areas of research in the field of occupational safety and health of particular interest to NIOSH programs and the National Occupational Research Agenda. A conference or scientific meeting is defined as a gathering, symposium, seminar, workshop or any other organized and formal meeting where persons assemble in person or meet virtually to coordinate, exchange, and disseminate information or to explore or clarify a defined subject, problem, or area of knowledge.
