The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is offering the FY16 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) Program to support environmental education programs in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. This competitive grant program aims to enhance existing programs, foster new initiatives, and promote partnership development. Projects selected will focus on advancing environmental literacy in alignment with the Chesapeake Bay Agreement and NOAA Education Strategic Plan. Through hands-on experiences and educational initiatives, the program targets K-12 students and educators to increase awareness of Chesapeake Bay watershed issues and integrate NOAA science content into the curriculum.
