Description: The Recipient is a member of the Master Youth Organizations who was awarded a Master Cooperative Agreement P15AC00031 allowing Student Conservation Association to participate in specific tasks, and can provide the necessary activities involved in this particular task while providing an effective outcome for NPS and the objectives of this research/educational project.
The NPS Trail Study Support Intern project will promote a greater public understanding of historic preservation programs and activities by responding to a Congressional direction to produce a trail study, in conjunction with broad participation in the process. This process includes public engagement and opinions. The intern will be working on the outreach component as well as developing a product that includes information related to trail location, management, ownership, partnership potential, and cost of administration. The intern will compile and edit lists of resources, assist in developing recommendations, and prepare briefing and presentation materials.
