The Department of Environmental Science is offering a grant to develop software tools and databases for the quality assurance and archiving of NPS-collected water quality data in EPA’s STORET Data Warehouse and the National Water Quality Monitoring Council’s Water Quality Portal. The grant aims to make this data accessible to EPA, states, and the public, including the integration of EarthSoft’s EQuIS and Aquatic Informatics’ Aquarius. This initiative will help archive NPS water resources data for Clean Water Act assessments and provide the public with updated information on the impairment status of NPS waters.
