The NSF Division of Astronomical Sciences (AST) offers the Partnerships in Astronomy & Astrophysics Research and Education (PAARE) grant. This grant is for enhancing diversity in astronomy and astrophysics research and education. It achieves this by stimulating the development of formal, long-term, collaborative partnerships. These partnerships are formed between minority-serving institutions (MSIs) and partners at research institutions, including academic institutions, private observatories, and facilities supported by the NSF AST division. The program’s purpose is to build strong, lasting connections to broaden participation in the astronomical sciences.
