The NSF Directorate for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBE) and the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) are offering this grant to advance fundamental research through data-intensive methodologies. This initiative, part of NSF’s Cyberinfrastructure Framework for 21st Century Science and Engineering (CIF21), aims to empower research communities to develop new, large-scale, next-generation data resources and innovative analytic techniques within the SBE and EHR fields. Successful proposals will outline activities creating significant, cross-disciplinary impacts by enabling novel types of data-intensive research. Investigators are encouraged to propose broad, intellectually expansive visions that extend across multiple disciplines, including, but not limited to, the SBE and EHR research areas.
