Eligible Applicants: | Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments) Small businesses Private institutions of higher education For profit organizations other than small businesses Public and State controlled institutions of higher education |
Additional Information on Eligibility: | OJJDP invites applications from nonprofit organizations (including faith-based, community, and tribal organizations), for-profit organizations, and institutions of higher learning (including tribal institutions of higher education) with demonstrated expertise in assisting communities to develop, maintain, and enhance juvenile drug courts. For-profit organizations must agree to waive any profit or fees for services.
OJJDP welcomes joint applications from two or more eligible applicants; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and management purposes) and the others indicated as co-applicants. The applicant should provide information that demonstrates the strength of the commitment of their partnering organizations, as set forth in Memoranda of Understanding, letters of support, statement of work, etc. |
