Additional Information on Eligibility: Eligible applicants are limited to public agencies, including state agencies, units of local government (including federally recognized Indian tribal governments as determined by the Secretary of the Interior), public universities and colleges (including tribal institutions of higher education), and nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including faith-based, tribal, and community organizations). For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee.

Description: State and regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces work collaboratively as a national network of law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies that prevent, interdict, and investigate technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and Internet crimes against children. This program furthers DOJ’s mission to provide support in this area of constantly evolving technology. Through this program, OJJDP will select an awardee to provide a variety of services and support to the ICAC task force program. This program is authorized by the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats to Our Children Act of 2008 (PROTECT Act) (P.L. 110–401 as amended by P.L. 112-206), 42 USC 17611-17616.
