Additional Information on Eligibility: Applications are limited to public agencies (including state agencies, units of local government, public school systems, universities and colleges, federally-recognized Indian tribal governments (as determined by the Secretary of the Interior and published in the Federal Register)), private organizations (including faith-based, tribal and community organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher learning) whose mission focuses on youth violence, substance abuse prevention and/or intervention, and victimization. OJJDP seeks applicants with extensive expertise in the areas of substance abuse; juvenile and family drug courts; and maltreatment, abuse, and crimes against children
