The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is offering this grant to update and expand its essential resources for crime victims with disabilities. This OVC grant is for the purpose of revising key existing materials, including the ‘Victims with Disabilities: First Response’ and ‘The Forensic Interview’ DVD and Trainer’s Guides. These resources, published between 2007-2011, require modernization due to advancements in disability understanding and rapid technological shifts impacting victimization. The grant also aims to provide comprehensive guidance, ensuring services are accessible and appropriate for crime victims with disabilities from initial response through to healing.
