| Additional Information on Eligibility: | Pursuant to 34 U.S.C. 20127 (Public Law 115-334 section 12502(b)) the following entities are eligible to apply: 1) States and territories 2) Units of local government 3) Indian tribes 4) Any other organization that has a documented history of effective work concerning domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, including— a. A domestic violence and sexual assault victim service provider; b. Domestic violence and sexual assault coalition; c. A community-based and culturally specific organization; and d. Any other nonprofit, nongovernmental organization 5) Any organization that works directly with pets, service animals, emotional support animals, or horses and collaborates with any organization referred to in 1–4 above, including— a. An animal shelter; and b. An animal welfare organization OVC may make more than one award to a single organization if proposed projects are in distinct |
