Description: The purpose of the Standards for Victim Service Programs and Providers project is to update an existing resource, originally released to the field in May 2003, entitled “Standards for Victim Assistance Programs and Providers”. One cooperative agreement will be awarded to reconvene the National Victim Assistance Standards Consortium, which originally drafted the document; update the resource for contemporary relevance; and work in partnership with the Office for Victims of Crime to conduct outreach to targeted audiences to disseminate information and provide training on the utility of the enhanced resource. The existing document may be viewed online at www.sc.edu//ccfs/training/consortium.html. The deadline for applying for funding under this announcement is 8:00 p.m. E.T. on Thursday, July 1, 2010.
