Additional Information on Eligibility: | Applicants are limited to state agencies, public agencies, and federally recognized tribal governments (as determined by the Secretary of the Interior). Units of government may partner as co-applicants, when necessary, to achieve the goals of this solicitation; however, a lead agency must be identified. Lead applicants must partner with a collaborative body that includes representatives of state government, victim services, law enforcement, health services (physical, mental, and behavioral), juvenile justice, courts, educators, and other state, tribal, and local entities. Partners should collectively have expertise in victim services (including victim compensation), child and youth victimization, child welfare, juvenile justice, law enforcement, mental health, and other key components identified by the applicant. OVC may elect to make awards for applications submitted under this solicitation in future fiscal years, dependent on the merit of the applications and the availability of appropriations. |
