Description: | As a result of the magnitude of the HIV epidemic in Mozambique and the limitations of health infrastructure; a large proportion of HIV service provisions is supported through international and some local non-governmental organizations (NGOs). This NOFO will focus on strengthening institutional capacity of Provincial Health Directorate of Nampula (DPS Nampula) in areas of HIV program development and planning, program implementation and oversight of activities related to HIV prevention, care, and treatment services funded through PEPFAR. To this end, this NOFO will prioritize expansion of quality improvement strategies that address supportive supervision, training, mentoring and surveillance. This NOFO will promote stronger collaboration with local health authorities and implementing partners to improve the quality of service delivery models. |
