Additional Information on Eligibility: (1) International Organizations. International multilateral organizations, such as United Nations agencies, should not submit proposals through Grants.gov in response to this Notice of Funding Opportunity announcement. Multilateral organizations that are seeking funding for programs relevant to this announcement should contact the PRM Program Officer (as listed below) on or before the closing date of the funding announcement.

Description: Current Funding Priorities: (a) Proposed activities should primarily support either Syrian or Sub-Saharan African refugees in Egypt. (Programs may include both populations but should provide a beneficiary breakdown by proportion of the two populations.) Because of PRM’s mandate to provide protection, assistance, and sustainable solutions for refugees and victims of conflict, PRM will consider funding only those projects that include a target beneficiary base of at least 50 percent refugees. (b) Proposals must focus on one or more of the following sectors (see PRM’s General NGO Guidelines for sector descriptions): (i) Protection, including child protection and/or gender-based violence prevention and response as applicable (ii) Education (iii) Healthcare (iv) Livelihoods (v) Psychosocial assistance. Proposed program start dates: July–August 2016. Duration of Activity: Program plans for up to one year will be considered. Funding Limits: Project proposals must not be less than $300,000 and not more than $600,000 or they will be disqualified.
