PAS Islamabad invites all eligible organizations (see Section C for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for a grant or cooperative agreement to train 200 – 300 Pakistani TV news anchors, reporters, producers, editors, and/or technicians in Pakistan and produce 60 – 80 resident trainers via the train-the-trainer program.
The applicant will be expected to design a hands-on, skills-based training program, to be presented in the form of short workshops, to improve the competency of professional, working TV news anchors, reporters, producers, editors, and/or technicians in Pakistan. The program to be proposed by the successful applicant, should be no fewer than six months, and include a culminating project to include a package of developed, edited, and taped stories of broadcast quality, using industry standard techniques and equipment. |
