| Additional Information on Eligibility: | The U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section (PAS) welcomes proposals from U.S. and Georgian private, non-profit, non-governmental organizations and educational institutions.Applicants must have a demonstrated expertise in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) programming and activities including training, evaluation, and retaining of effective English Language teachers, to increase the number and quality of teachers available to public schools throughout Georgia. The successful applicant(s) will be able to demonstrate how this will assist in promoting enhancement of quality teaching and learning in schools by ensuring professional knowledge in teachers, establishing high performance standards, and raising professional status of teachers. Expertise and established relationships with educational organizations in Georgia will be favorably considered. |
