Applicants should clearly identify the relevant publications in their SFS 424 Biographical Sketch. Experience requirements may be demonstrated through the combined experiences of a Principal and Co-Principal Investigator. 2)     Document effective and well-defined working relationships with any organization and/or outside entities expected to participate in the proposed research that will ensure implementation and sustainability of the proposed activities. This should be evidenced by letters of support or memoranda of understanding detailing the nature and extent of the involvement from the performing organization and outside entities. The letters of support or memoranda of understanding should include detailed information about the nature of existing relationships. They should also include the anticipated extent of involvement and scope of work to which the organization is willing to commit (include in the appendices). 3)     Propose research to rigorously evaluate the effectiveness of innovative and promising programs or policies to prevent suicidal behavior. There must be an overall match between the proposed objectives as described in the applicant’s abstract and the Research Objectives of this FOA as described in the Background and Purpose under the heading, “Research Objectives". 4)     Applicants must propose to evaluate prevention strategies targeting men within the stipulated range of 35-64 years.
