The Risk Management Agency (RMA) is offering this grant to empower U.S. agricultural producers through cooperative partnership agreements. This grant is for the purpose of delivering essential training and information in managing production, marketing, and financial risks. Priority is given to producers of crops not currently insured under Federal crop insurance, specialty crops, and underserved commodities, including livestock and forage. A maximum of 110 agreements will be funded, with at least ten in each of the ten designated RMA Regions. The maximum award per agreement is $10,000. Successful applicants must demonstrate nonfinancial benefits and agree to substantial RMA involvement in their projects.
