The Rural Housing Service (RHS) is inviting applications for its Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) program. This grant offers financial assistance to qualified public agencies, private nonprofit organizations (including Faith-Based and Community Organizations), and other eligible entities. The primary objective of the HPG program is to support very low- and low-income homeowners in rural areas with the repair and rehabilitation of their homes. Furthermore, the grant also aids rental property owners and cooperative housing complexes in renovating their units, provided these properties are subsequently made available to low- and very low-income persons. This initiative complies with Agency regulations to inform eligible applicants of preapplication dates for HPG funds.
