The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) is offering the Revolving Fund Program (RFP) to assist communities with vital water or wastewater systems. This grant enables qualified private, non-profit organizations to establish essential lending programs. As grant recipients, these organizations will create a revolving loan fund to provide financial support. Loans from this fund are specifically for entities eligible under the RUS Water and Waste Disposal loan and grant programs. The funding is intended to finance predevelopment costs associated with water or wastewater projects, or for short-term, small capital projects that are not part of the regular operation and maintenance of current water and wastewater systems. This initiative aims to bolster community infrastructure development.
