The S/GWI is offering this grant to design, implement, manage, and evaluate a project establishing supportive communities for primarily secondary school-age youth (13-19 years). This grant aims to mitigate systemic barriers limiting the full economic and social participation of girls in all their diversity by providing access to safe, equitable, and inclusive opportunities, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and careers. Through these communities, youth will be empowered to challenge harmful gender norms and contribute meaningfully to their communities. This initiative builds upon the success of S/GWI’s prior SHE’s GREAT project, fostering an environment where young individuals, especially girls, can thrive and lead in STEM fields.
