This grant is for the purpose of developing a Community of Practice (CoP) to strengthen policies, practices, and systems nationwide that support families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) throughout their lives. Administered by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD) under HHS, this cooperative agreement will foster collaboration to identify and disseminate promising practices, address challenges, provide technical assistance, and promote interagency partnerships. The CoP will enhance states’ capacity to deliver culturally competent support facilitating self-determination for I/DD families.
