This grant is for the purpose of expanding and enhancing the evaluation efforts within communities currently receiving funding for obesity prevention under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The primary objective is to broaden the collection and assessment of individual-level health data, including height, weight, BMI, and other relevant biometric measurements. Furthermore, recipients are expected to integrate or expand the use of additional observational tools to monitor policy and environmental changes, thereby strengthening the overall impact assessment of obesity prevention strategies. This ensures a comprehensive understanding of program effectiveness.
