The Fiscal Year 2011 EOC Grant Program improves emergency management and preparedness capabilities by supporting flexible, sustainable, secure, strategically located, and fully interoperable EOCs with a focus on addressing identified deficiencies and needs. The EOC Grant Program is authorized by section 614 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 6196c). Funds for the Fiscal Year 2010 EOC Grant Program are appropriated under the Department of Defense and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, 2011 (Public Law 112-10). Funding in the amount of $14,101,740 is available for grants for construction or renovation of a State, local, or Tribal government’s primary EOCs. This grant program is not intended to fund the construction or renovation of State, local, or Tribal Fusion Centers.
