The Discovery Research K-12 Program offers this grant to significantly enhance preK-12 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning and teaching. This grant is for the research and development of innovative resources, models, and tools (RMTs) that build on fundamental STEM education research. Projects should address immediate challenges in K-12 STEM education or anticipate future structures of teaching and learning. The program supports four major research and development strands: Assessment, Learning, Teaching, and Implementation Research, with potential overlap between them.
