The Federal Health Research Department is offering the Behavioral & Integrative Treatment Development Program (R03) Grant. This grant encourages investigators to propose well-defined projects, completable within two years, focusing on behavioral or integrated (e.g., behavioral and pharmacological) interventions. The primary targets include drug abuse (including comorbidities), preventing HIV acquisition or transmission among individuals in drug abuse treatment, promoting adherence to drug abuse, HIV, and addiction medications, and managing chronic pain. Funded studies may encompass Stage I intervention generation, pilot or feasibility studies identifying moderators and mechanisms, developing interventions for primary care, or enhancing implementability and effects through innovative use of technology.
