The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) is offering this grant to strengthen archives and historical records programs across all states, aiming to build a cohesive national archival network. This grant is specifically for State Historical Records Advisory Boards. Funds will empower boards to provide essential statewide archival services, including professional education and public outreach, and to operate sub-grant programs for eligible in-state archives and repositories. Grantees are expected to collaborate on shared initiatives, assess program health, address critical archival issues, host public forums, and actively engage with national archival organizations. This initiative seeks to enhance the preservation and accessibility of historical records nationwide.
