The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is offering this grant to establish Clinical Centers for its new Pulmonary Vascular Disease Phenomics (PVDOMICS) Program. This initiative aims to redefine pulmonary hypertension by enabling teams of investigators to perform comprehensive, deep phenotyping across all five World Health Organization (WHO)-classified clinical groups of pulmonary hypertension. This grant is for the purpose of funding up to five Clinical Centers, which will be integral to gathering the necessary data. A separate funding opportunity will establish a single Data Coordinating Center to support this large-scale phenomics effort. The overall goal is to advance understanding and classification of pulmonary vascular diseases.
