The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is dedicated to fostering diversity within the biomedical workforce. To advance this goal, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is offering a grant for collaborative research partnerships. This initiative invites applications proposing collaborations between faculty at minority-serving institutions (MSIs) and those at academic institutions with established reproductive science research programs. These partnerships will establish the Cooperative Research Partnerships to Promote Workforce Diversity in the Reproductive Sciences (CPDR). A vital aspect involves providing CPDR-related research experiences to diverse undergraduate students. Utilizing the NIH Cooperative Research Project (U01) mechanism, NICHD plans to commit approximately $1.2 million to fund up to two partnerships, with separate awards to each institution.
