The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is offering this grant to support an intermediary organization in providing financial and technical assistance to approximately 80 communities nationwide. This grant is for the purpose of enabling these communities to conduct vital public education and awareness activities focused on crime victims’ rights and available services during the 2024 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), which oversees OVC, is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights, racial equity, increases access to justice for crime victims, strengthens community safety, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. The OVC Director will make final funding decisions for recipient communities.
