This grant is for the purpose of improving the quality of political representation in Moldova. The Strengthening Political Accountability and Civic Engagement in Moldova (SPACE-Moldova) Program aims to achieve this by fostering the development of more accountable political parties at national and local levels, ensuring they represent citizens’ interests. It will strengthen mechanisms to encourage party reform and expand crucial linkages between political parties and civic groups, thereby increasing public demand for improved representation from elected officials. Additionally, the program will support enhanced transparency within electoral processes. SPACE-Moldova intends to collaborate with both political parties and diverse civil society organizations, including registered and unofficial groups, to achieve these vital objectives.
