Additional Information on Eligibility: This will be a single-source award to Ducks Unlimited, Southern Regional Office through a Cooperative Agreement. The single-source determination is in accordance with criteria under Department of Interior quidance (505 DM 2, (Section 2.14).

Agency Name: Fish and Wildlife Service
Description: Funding is available through the U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service to restore Moist Soil Units at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. Current wetland conditions are insufficient to achieve management objectives, which include shallow flooding necessary to restore former migratory and wintering bird values. The contractor will be required to: (1) Document site topography and features of existing wetlands (topographic elevations, minimum requirements for levee reconstruction, pump and water distribution line design and installation locations); 2) complete and deliver suitable construction plans that result in a set of stamped design drawings; 3) provide construction assistance for dike reconstruction, installation of water control structures and associated culverts, root-plowing, and laser leveling; 4) purchase and install a pump and water distribution lines. All items require the contractor to secure any required supplies and materials, perform construction/ restoration inspection and oversight, and perform construction check-out and contract close-out.
