Additional Information on Eligibility: This is a Notice of Intent to award a Single Source Cooperative agreement to Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies for the purpose of collaborative research, data access and analysis, and management applications for wildlife and wildlife habitats.

This Single Source Award is being awarded in accordance with Department of the Interior Policy 505 DM 2.14 B [(2) Continuation, and (4) Unique Qualifications], which allows for award without competition to an applicant. This recipient and project meet these criteria due to fact that WAFWA possesses the unique capability to coordinate and leverage the capacity and research capabilities of multiple Western state fish and game management agencies, in collaboration with the Service, to address management and conservation needs of Federal and State trust species. This single source award is a continuation of existing a preexisting cooperative agreement award, which has allowed the Service to access and leverage WAFWA¿s data and expertise relative to the conservation of greater sage-grouse.
