This AHRQ grant is for establishing a National Coordinating Center (NCC) to provide crucial support and guidance for the Agency’s Healthcare Extension Service. This service focuses on State-based Solutions to Healthcare Improvement. The NCC recipient will be responsible for a comprehensive range of services across four key areas: delivering technical assistance, fostering learning networks, managing communications and dissemination, and providing strong leadership and project management. The purpose of this grant is to facilitate the effective implementation of actionable knowledge into practice. The selected NCC will work in close collaboration with AHRQ and the recipients of two related U19 grants, namely the State-based Healthcare Extension Cooperatives and the National Evaluation Center, to accelerate healthcare improvements nationwide.
