Eligible recipients must be a participating partner of the Rocky Mountain Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Program.

Description: Mid Level resolution Imagery (MLRI), in this case mapping data and imagery from a satellite, has been provided for the public’s use for more than thirty years. The purpose of this CESU would be to determine the value and societal benefits that are derived from MLRI data through identification and classification of users, a better understanding of the uses and applications, and to estimate the societal benefit or MLRI in decision making.The purpose of this ageement is to secure additional assistance from DARE Economists to conduct the statistical analysis of the Landsat survey nonmarket valuation questions. This series of questions include a double bounded dichotomous choice contingent valuation question. This will require customized statistical programming. These types of procedures are not available in commercial software packages. The DARE economists will conduct the statistical analysis for the nonmarket valuation questions.
