This grant is for the Integrated Research, Education, and Extension Competitive Grants Program, specifically addressing Methyl Bromide Transitions (MBT). Methyl Bromide has long been a critical pest and disease control tactic across agricultural, industrial, natural resource, and urban management systems. The MBT program aims to solve significant agricultural issues and priorities that have arisen due to the loss of methyl bromide’s availability. It supports projects that integrate robust research, comprehensive education, and effective extension activities. This initiative is designed to tackle immediate needs and alleviate the associated costs of transition, helping the agricultural sector adapt to new pest management strategies.
