The Tribal Elder Justice Office is offering this grant to significantly enhance and improve the provision of adult protective services (APS) delivered by Tribal governments and related organizations. This grant is specifically designed for the purpose of assisting tribes in a comprehensive manner: identifying specific community needs concerning the prevention and effective response to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Furthermore, recipients will implement direct activities to address these critical issues. A key aim is to foster the development of multidisciplinary elder justice initiatives, ensuring coordinated efforts to prevent, respond to, and resolve instances of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, ultimately safeguarding tribal elders.
