Information about the Public Affairs Section can be found at: http://kolkata.usconsulate.gov.Background: The U.S. Consulate General strongly supports initiatives that develop the skills of youth through exchange programs, leadership training and experiential learning, and that connect American and Indian youth through sustainable linkages between schools and community organizations. This project will help enhance U.S.-India strategic partnership with a focus on empowerment through entrepreneurship.Program Goals: The goals of this funding opportunity are to:1. Support economic growth and development by providing training opportunities and building skills capacities for youth.2. Strengthen people-to-people ties between the United States and India through exchanges of information, experiences and expertise.3.
