The U.S. Consulate General Lagos, Public Affairs Section (PAS) is pleased to issue this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for U.S. Government-sponsored Nigerian program alumni interested in applying for funding to propose projects to address issues under one of the seven priority theme areas listed. 

 

Alumni of Fulbright, Humphrey, IVLP, UGRAD, SUSI, YALI, MWF, RLC, PAYLP, CYFI, AWE, TechWomen, GSMP, GES, IWP, and AFS programs are invited to propose projects.   

 

All programs must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.  

 

Proposals should include that any training, meetings, workshops, and/or seminars should be conducted at an American corner or Window on America when possible. American Corners or Windows on America are in Lagos (Lekki, Victoria Island, and Yaba), Ibadan, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Abeokuta, Awka, Enugu, Osogbo, Uyo, and Benin City.   

 

Proposals should also indicate that any volunteers, project officers, or project staff, paid or unpaid, be U.S. Government alumni.  

 

This notice outlines PAS’ funding priorities and the procedures for submitting applications for funding. Implementation of this program remains subject to the approval and availability of U.S. government fiscal year 2021 (FY 2021) funds. Please carefully read through and follow all instructions.
