The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) is offering this grant for a technical assistance project in Nepal. This grant aims to increase the resiliency of local communities to child labor and/or forced labor, specifically within the context of a changing climate. Approximately $4,000,000 is available for one cooperative agreement. The project will focus on learning and action to achieve two main outcomes: fostering a greater understanding of the link between climate change and vulnerability to labor risks, and increasing the implementation of child-centered, gender-sensitive, and socially inclusive climate adaptation initiatives. This initiative seeks to build stronger, more aware communities in Nepal.
