Description: This Notice of Intent (NOI) is not a request for funding applications. Subject to the availability of funds, the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs will award one or more cooperative agreements for technical assistance project(s) to strengthen linkages between labor inspectorates and labor courts within two countries-El Salvador and Honduras. The project aims to integrate case management systems within each country, thus enabling information sharing on complaint intake, full investigations, case development, remediation plans, and transfer/follow through to the labor courts. The Office of Procurement Services anticipates publishing the soliciation for cooperative agreement applications (SCA) on or about May 31, 2013 (this date is subject to change). Please refer to: http://www.dol.gov/ILAB/grants/main.htm#20121009 and http://www.dol.gov/ilab/grants/SGAguidelines.htm for general guidelines and examples of previous cooperative agreement applications. This NOI does not include an SCA or any attachments. It only consititutes a notice of USDOL’s intent to publish an SCA at a later date. Interested applicants are encouraged to monitor http://www.grants.gov for the SCA, as this is the method by which it will be made available to the public. No email or paper copies will be provided.
