The U.S. Department of State Subnational Diplomacy Unit is offering this grant for organizations to manage the logistics and planning of an in-person Symposium on Strategic Subnational Diplomacy. This grant is for the purpose of bringing together subnational leaders from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, U.K., and U.S. A primary goal is to enhance the benefits these governments gain from foreign engagement while mitigating risks like political interference, unfair economic practices, and challenges to rule of law.
