The Fund has provided sub-grants and capacity building support to a cohort of 93 civil society organizations in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka focused broadly on the following priority areas: 1. Increasing public sector accountability and transparency, especially in infrastructure procurement and public sector spending; 2. Strengthening democratic institutions and practices, including countering disinformation; 3. Supporting emerging areas of concern, such as environmental governance; 4. Promoting civic participation in such efforts. |
