The U.S. Embassy Montevideo Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for government and non-government organizations or not-for profit institutions to submit applications to develop, implement and manage programs that support the Embassy’s priorities. This cooperative agreement will oversee the process for implementing and managing grants in accordance with Embassy strategic funding priorities. In consultation with PD, the successful applicant will manage the small grants program fully, including promoting it, accepting, and reviewing grant proposals, corresponding with applicants, managing payments and financial records, and monitoring and evaluating the programs.
Recipients may enter into sub-awards with other entities to accomplish the project outlined in the award. The primary recipient is responsible for monitoring and providing oversight of the subrecipient’s performance and expenditures. Adequate documentation of the subrecipients’ compliance with award terms and conditions must be maintained by the primary recipient and made available to the GO upon request. This includes the sub-award selection methodology and any relevant policies the prime recipient has regarding sub-awards and sub-award monitoring. |
