Additional Information on Eligibility: | Argentine applicants may be either NGOs with a valid Inspección General de Justicia registration, higher education institutions, individuals or local/provincial governments with the ability to receive grant funds. Projects submitted by organizations that do not provide proof of legal status will not be considered.
U.S. applicants may be registered 501c3 not-for-profit organizations, including think-tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations with programming experience; individuals; or educational institutions. |

Description: | The U.S. Embassy Argentina Public Affairs Section (PAS) is pleased to announce that funding is available through its Public Diplomacy Grants Program. This Annual Program Statement outlines funding priorities, strategic themes, and procedures for submitting requests for funding. Applications for programs are accepted on a rolling basis until the deadline. The deadline of March 15, 2018 is necessary to provide sufficient time to process and award programs in advance of the fiscal year end. Please carefully follow all instructions below.
Purpose of Small Grants: The Grants Program supports projects proposed by U.S. and Argentine academic, cultural, educational, and other non-profit organizations and/or individuals that fulfill U.S. Embassy goals and objectives: to promote security and economic prosperity through academic and cultural projects seeking to increase understanding between U.S. and Argentine people and institutions. The Grants Program is designed to assist Argentine organizations in carrying out programs aimed at building communities, providing new opportunities for citizen engagement, and promoting and advancing issues of public importance, focusing on the following topics: • Workforce development Examples of prior projects include, but are not limited to: • U.S. experts conducting speaking tours/public talks or roundtable discussions with counterparts in Argentina; Priority Audiences: • Youth (13-25), including students; |
