The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is pleased to announce an open competition for eligible organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to design and implement an English language program in a neighboring country that provides professional training for Afghan students under the auspices of the Afghan University Student Exchange Program (AUSEP). The successful applicant will design, implement, and provide all administrative support for a program at a university, institute, or school in a neighboring country that will provide professional training for Afghan students. Overall, the program aims to enhance and broaden the professional skills of third-year undergraduate students in English Departments of Afghan universities and to enhance the leadership skills of participants as well as cross-cultural understanding between Afghanistan, the host country, and the United States. The program will offer an intensive five-week, American-style, professional training program for participants.

PAS intends to issue an award for a period of 36 months.
